Requirements:
  • Bachelorís degree in Education, or combination of education and experience, substantially equivalent to a bachelorís degree
  • Experience working with the homeless youth population
  • Experience with Nevada educational system.

    Job Title:

    WORC Department: Career Coach

    Sample Duties Provide coaching and case management services to participants, advising about occupational training and/or educational programs needed for a particular career. Assess individualsí program qualifications, career and employment interests, abilities and aptitudes. Evaluate educational and occupational backgrounds, and address any skill gaps or other barriers related to employability. Assists program participants with developing resumes, completing career assessments, and developing an Individual Employment Plan. Enter all case notes and other information into NJCOS database system.

  • BA/BS in related field, or equivalent experience
  • WIA/WIOA and/or Career Counseling experience and prior knowledge of NJCOS system is preferred

    Job Title:

    WORC Youth Job Developer

    Sample Duties Provides clients with information about various employment programs/job openings in the community and outlying rural areas. Job Development/Employer Support: Initiates and maintains ongoing professional contacts with a variety of business and industry representatives, and job placement and training agencies to promote programs for client referrals. Conduct cold calls to potential employers. Explain the benefits and employment support services provided by programs to employers, including addressing any special needs the employer might have. Research newspapers, agency websites, and other resources for job leads. Locate jobs for clients who have successfully completed the training programs. Collect data from employers related to job orders, including job requirements and skills, matching job skills with applicant qualifications, referring qualified applicants to employers, conduct follow-up when applicants are placed in a position. Collects/Reviews timesheets from clients enrolled in OJTís & Work Experiences.
    Requirements:
  • Bachelorís degree in Human Resources or related field and 3 years of experience, or a combination of education and related experience.
  • Experience with WIOA/Employment & Training Programs or Recruiting a plus.
  • Must have valid NV driverís license, clean DMV record, pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
  • Hours: Monday Ė Thursday - 7am to 5pm

    DH Program Coordinator

    Sample Duties The Displaced Homemaker Coordinator provides coordination of the day-to-day activities in the Work Opportunities Readiness Center, WORC, which supports the education and development clients/displaced homemakers; and oversees support and resource programs for displaced homemakers. The Coordinator supervises staff and may also provide support for WORC related activities for special populations.
    Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Science or related area. Relevant experience performing the duties of this job may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.

    Sample Duties The WORC Job Coach supports job search, assists participants in online applications, or resume building/jobs, assists with career building, schedules and sets up & monitors progress of work experiences/goal attainment/documentation through to completion for WORC clients.     Financial Analyst & WX Data Quality

    Sample Duties Ensures that all Weatherization invoices are processed according to grant stipulations, and funding is tracked on a regular basis.

    Will perform various finance and accounting functions, under the direction of the Finance Supervisor, Manager and/or CFO.
    Requirements:
  • Must be efficient in Quickbooks, WeatherEyes, Adobe PDF, and Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
  • Must be able to multi-task. Must have ability to type 45 WPM, and operate a 10-key by touch. Knowledge of non-profit A-133 auditing standards, and applicable grant/accounting statutes, ordinances and codes. Requires excellent communication skills, both written and oral; attention to detail, and ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

    Job Title:

    Warehouse Manager Trainee

    Sample Duties Oversee the day today operations in the framing hope warehouse, will assist the director of operations with all maintenance and facility issues and oversight, will provide assistance during donation pick ups and deliveries, will supervise warehouse staff, to include community service workers, WEX program workers and HELP staff assigned to the department.
